What Do We Do About Food?

Check out our "Where to Eat?" guide by clicking here.

Before arrival: There are a range of shops in Fort William and Mallaig if you wish to pick up items on the way.

On Knoydart: Our community works hard to improve our self-sustainability and therefore we encourage you to shop local where possible. The Kilchoan Farm Shop has a very good range of essentials including meats, vegetables, shelf products, and lots of options for lunch/picnic spreads (we can forward you a product list if you are interested). On site at Knoydart Lodge, we also have the Snack Shack which offers a range of homemade, individually portioned frozen dinner meals and continental breakfasts on request at £5 each. If you choose to eat out, there are also a variety of eateries across the peninsula, all info is available on the Visit Knoydart website.

Can You Help Us Arrange Activities?

Of course! If you have any questions before arrival just get in touch and we will do our best to help you plan your holiday based on your interests. We also provide welcome booklets in each of our rooms detailing lots of activities, events and facilities across Knoydart to ensure you have the best possible time here.
